Where is everyone in Europa?
Returning after a loooong break and going to try the new dungeons/goodies but no one seems to be around

Seems the days of taking turns in blood dungeon for the blood ellies are truely over
Where do the people hang out now in Europa?

maybe you just hit a bad spot. I tried 3 different places last night before I found somewhere that wasn't already occupied.

Most of them are probably at the Doctors suffering from RSI through sifting for too long, or maybe for injuries sustained while clearing rubbish, putting out fires and arresting Angry Rioters for three and a half months.

The amount of rioting and arson attacks that have taken place during that time make one wonder how we still have any cities left. Enough is enough already.

I would try different times and use general chat to see where the action is. Plus with nicer weather coming now, players may not be on as much as they would like. Real life has it's ways of taking time away from their favorite pixels like going on holiday and such

On a side note :

One solution could be what GW2 has added to their game. They have what you call guesting on other servers with your character which is free.

A short explanation:

Guild Wars 2 will also let you "guest" on other worlds/servers free of charge, although doing so has some restrictions. You can't take part in world versus world battles, for instance.

That's because world versus world battles pit entire worlds/servers against each other in huge, hundreds-strong battles. And you fight in world versus world battles for the prestige of your world/server - not some "guesting" holiday home.

In short this could give players in UO shards with small poputlations to actually "TRY" other shards with existing fully made characters from their home shard they like to choose. Also it should come with restrictions like not be able to place housing on the guest shard and no xsharding of items back and forth while guesting. Once the player likes a shard they do guest on then that player can make a better decision to find a new shard to play on. Then they can buy an xfer token and go to a shard they choose to move.

Just an idea to throw out but would be very complicated to add to UO imo.

speaking of farming dead servers... Is it very profitable anymore to just transfer to say a dead server and farm despise champ spawns then transfer back to a live shard to sell like 100x 120 powerscrolls? I mean can you practically chain spawns all day on a "dead shard"?

hehe its cool bro.

Some shards you can chain Despise all day with very little interuptions. Even blues for different guilds work together sharing in the scrolls also.

I saw somebody selling transfer tokens for like 30 million or so, so it's a matter of whether it's worth your time after you take out the costs of the transfer tokens.

question are you in the uk? if your a usa player remember the time difference if you are uk you might find that many play at different times on the servers Europa i figue might be one of these. As for the "dead servers" they are not so dead and yes good for farming.
