ETA on the next publish?

I'm tired of camping Navery and not getting anything so I've decided to boycott the big ugly spider until the next publish hopefully brings a better way of distribution of the drops......my problem is that with the lack of communication we have been having lately, I have no idea when that publish might come.

I completely understand that the Dev team is limited at the moment, but I wish that we could get some form of "stable" communication channel opened with them.

Now it's entirely up to folks how much faith they have, but, from Cal's 12 Feb 'Where are we...' note ...

"For our publish in March we’re taking another look at the entire Mysticism spell line and amping it up a bit."

So there's meant to be a publish of some sort in March...

Regarding Magincia,

i've seen way way more garg drops than any others, in fact i haven't seen any other than garg drops. i bet that abyss housing 'quest' is tough to come up with... that seems very challenging to allow 'every person on every shard the best opportunity.'

I think they`d still get called names and run into the ground even if they came in and babysat everyone once a week.

Be glad you have dev communication at all. Somes better than none.

Also should point out the replies being made in the "Ask the Devs" forum. If you look at the dates..... they have been communicating more.

Can`t make everyone happy I guess.

13 days? I had not even realized it had been such a short amount of time considering the staggering amount of posts about how there is no communication.....

i have also boycotted navrey until the next publish. I don't mind things being a challenge to obtain but the inactivity and lack of a chance for even semi decent loot dropping drove me nuts down there.

For my part, I just worry what'll happen to me is that I'll put in the effort under the old system, and then get the (most likely reduced) reward under the new system. (Reward-effort mismatch.)

For my part a lot of enthusiasm I've had post-SA release is gone.

Waves of layoffs, an unclear direction for the game, and being openly made fun of by the Producer (both as a classification, "care bear," and individually) haven't done a lot for me.

I wouldn't be having all that much fun if it weren't for the RP Community on GL (we've had people come back lately...which is nice), Factions, my guild and its members, and the EM events. (The order those are presented in is of no significance.)

I haven't suddenly become a hater or nay-sayer. (I'm usually either painted as a hater or a cheerleader depending on the audience.) I'd say, rather, that my enthusiasm has always been measured, nuanced, and responsive. This approach is often not well-received on Stratics, where being one extreme or the other seems to be the preferred norm.

I'm responding positively to the things I feel positive about, and there just isn't as much of it as there was not too long ago.

Hopefully a better drop rate on the new SA Artifacts will be a worthwhile stop-gap for the new event cycle.

I do!

But very few of them have all that much to do with the manufacturer.

Really just the EM events and Factions (and the fun parts of that are mostly stuff that's been around for a very long time).

The rest are all players.

Well, I for one am much happier with the feedback in the "ask the devs".
I was going to comment last week, but figured I would wait a bit to see if it was only a short term bump in communication or a "fix" that would last.

On another point brought up in this thread, where are the housing areas in the abyss? I would hate to have to dodge around a bunch of houses when fighting. And my personal opinion is that players with houses in the Abyss should not be able to recall to their house..
