Seriously?! They're taking over the game!![]()
In truth, the initial plan was simply to do like we did last year and set the champ spawn bosses to the turkey body type. Everyone else would just get a cornucopia on log in (like the xmas tickets). But seeing how our turkeys were rather tiny, with a bit of shameless eyelashes batting we got the Art Team to give us a bigger version. Considering what an awesome job they did, also adding combat and death animations, design felt it would have been a lame not to use it elsewhere and give it more visibility.
From there it evolved into the mini-quest!

Scratch that, found emI was disappointed however not to find any paragon turkeys.
I just have to say this is way more fun than just loggin on for the gifts and logggin out. I congratulate you on job well done. Im really pleased. Yes a lot more fun. I'm actually getting good at finding the spots on the map. Had to have someone help me before. LOLI just have to say this is way more fun than just loggin on for the gifts and logggin out. I congratulate you on job well done. Im really pleased. Keep Them Comming!!!
My reponds slayer worked liked normal fighting turkey barracoon.I was disappointed when my reptile slayer wasn't working on the discorded Turkey-Rikktor. I'm used to doing 200+ damage flamestrike evil omens when it's corpse skinned. This time I was going 60.
Disappointed that it took well over 5 minutes to kill, instead of the usual 2-3.
Don't listen to the naysayers... this Thanksgiving event is awesome, and a lot of fun! You guys did really good on this, and have also responded exceedingly well to the minor issues with it. You all made the right decision with this, and if the few grumps don't like turkeys, well, they can stop doing champ spawns until 11/29. *grin*In truth, the initial plan was simply to do like we did last year and set the champ spawn bosses to the turkey body type.
