Enhancing gargoyle jewelry

Hi, I need to enhance gargish necklace and earings with gold to give it more luck. Whenever I try through tinkering menu it tells me "You cannot enhance this type of item with the properties of the selected special material." Am I doing something wrong?

Those items are made via tinkering and cannot be enhanced using the traditional blacksmithy enhancement process.

So what are the options for gargoyles as far as enhancing goes? Humans and elves can enhance all 6 pieces of their armor and gargoyles only 4? Seems unbalanced.

... except that the base resists of the other four suit pieces (kilt, arms, legs, and chest) are way higher than the human/elf equivalents. You can actually fit more onto a properly configured Garg suit than you can an equivalent human/elf suit. I realize you wanted extra luck, so in that case you may be right, but otherwise the Garg suits are slightly better than the human/elf suits.

Gargoyles can wear the lucky necklace, which is 200 luck but no other properties. For earrings, there are the maritime reading glasses that have 150 luck and can be altered for gargoyles. Offhand I can't really think of any other luck items for those slots. I hope we get runic tinker tools and can enhance jewelry one day.

Thanks, I'll give it a a shot.

Gargoyle Platemail/Stone Armor is nuts when it comes to Resists. With my craftsman who has 120 Blacksmithing/120 Tailoring/GM Carpentry/GM Tinkering/GM Fletching/GM Arms Lore/80 Magery, the Exceptional Gargish Platemail/Stone Armor i make has 50 Total Resist just as Iron. 63 with Valorite.
For example, i was able to imbue +5 Health/+8 Stam/+8 Mana/+8% LMC/+1 MR onto a Valorite Gargish Platemail Chest/Kilt/Leggings, and all 3 still have 63 Total Resists. The Gargish Platemail Arms were imbued with +8 Stam/+8 Mana/+8% LMC/+1 MR and 21 Fire Resist. The Gargish Necklace was imbued with +8 Mana/+8% LMC/+2 MR, and 17 Fire Resist/15 Energy Resist. The Gargish Earrings were imbued with +8 Stam/+8 Mana/+2 MR and 11 Cold Resist/17 Poison Resist. The whole suit comes up to +15 Health/+40 Stamina/+48 Mana/+40% LMC/+8 MR and all 70's Resists. This isn't even including Ring/Bracelet, or Clothing with mods.

Unfortunately, when it comes to the Resists on Gargish Earrings/Necklace, GM Armslore bonus does not affect them, and neither does the material used.

GM Armslore bonus DOES affect (30 total resists = 10 base + 20 exceptional)

My garg has (from 5 items):
+25 Health/+40 Stamina/+40 Mana/+40% LMC/+2 MR/+20% HCI and all 60's Resists

The total stats are:
50% EP, 150 STR, 150 HP, 185 Stamina, 77 Mana (could increase up to 79 with detective boots but don't wont alter them)
4 FC, 6 FCR, 12 MR, 46% LMC (40% LMC when I use a slayer talisman like Flame Slayer, Bird Slayer, etc)
50% HCI, 45% DCI, 100% DI, 20% SSI (max swing speed with 120 Stamina - when she's cursed and/or damaged)
100% HML, 100% HLL, 34% HSL, Super Slayer (she has 6 different weapons with all craftable super slayers)
all 70 Resists, Nightsight
