Enhanced Client: Change Text Color?

Is there any way to change the text color of what my character speaks?

Yes there is.

You access it through the system message/chat window.

I believe you right click the little orange/black button under the system window then left click "Chat Colors".

You can change your speech, emote color, chat text color etc...

It's a nice feature, but rather hidden. Perhaps a duplicate way to get to it through the options menu could help.

Finally got a second to try this, and it didn't work completely. After changing the color of my SAY to Green, it showed up in the typing line as Green, but was still yellow after being "spoken".

I just went and changed my color just to reacquaint myself with how it works. When I wrote my first reply it had been many months since I fiddled with it.

Ok. Here goes:

After you right click the orange/black button left click "CHAT COLORS" thgen left click "SAY" then left click whichever colored circle you want your speech to be.

The colored box next to "Your Speech will change to that color.

Then left click "ACCEPT"

Yea I did that, but the actual text spoken ingame is still yellow (the text that goes over my character's head is still yellow - the text in the chat window was green.

Hmmmm t'is strange indeed.

Just out of curiosity, are you using the interface in Legacy mode instead of the default EC mode?
I'm just wondering if that could have something to do with it.

Though I don't really know a whole lot about computer programs so I'm easily puzzled.

I have had no problems with mine so it couldn't be an in game thing.

I hope you get this figured out.

I know text color is a very small thing but it is often the small stuff that gives us the biggest grief.
