Empty Basket question

When I try to eat the fruit to get the empty baskets in Nujelm it tells me "You can't eat that, it belongs to someone else". I have been gone from UO for quite some time, so I was wondering are you unable to get these baskets now? I can still get the one in Bucs Den.

I am getting the same message with the Plate of Food in the huts outside of Brit.

You have to drop those baskets using coins or bandages. Just stack bandages under any floating baskets (up to where they start stacking on top of the basket) then remove them starting from the top bandage on down. Once the basket drops you can eat the food and grab it.

I think the plates of food are only in fel, not sure on that one.

The plates of food are in the huts on the Fel side.
Eat once and pickup.
Eat twice and I think they just turn into plates.

Thank you I will have to try the trick with the bandages or something for the baskets
