Grand Opening, Black Tie Event.

Aino Nystad foundation cordially invites you to the grand opening of the Britannian Heraldic Society. The event will be held at the erstwhile Counselor’s hall in East Britain (Trammel) on Thursday, August 26th at 8:00 PM PST. This will be a black tie/cocktail event, so dress appropriately.

Kullervo Nystad will be the chief guest at the event. He has agreed to wear an outfit designed by an upstart tailor (we think he has no clue how to dress for a black tie event, sshh!). So, if you are a tailor looking to earn some fame, leave an outfit that you think would best suit Kullervo in the mailbox at the reward’s hall, no later than Wednesday 25th. Please, include a book with your name and any other information. Kullervo will pick the outfit that he likes the most and wear it to the event!

The event will start with a speech by our chief guest, followed by any one else who would like to say a few words. Please, sign up beforehand (by commenting to this post). Finally, the curator of the Heraldic society will be introduced. Any questions regarding the functioning of the society will be answered at this stage as well.

(Note: the date is tentative at this point. If there are any changes, we will let you know by the coming weekend.)

I'm a little confused. I was under the impression that there are no ties, black or otherwise, in this game.

I suppose I could polymorph and get in under the Cocktail rule.

It is just code for dressing nicely and with a black color theme! It does not have to be all black either.

You are not expected to wear a tie, but feel free to be creative and fun!
