There's a lantern at the Counselors Hall now announcing the long awaited Shadowlord Event Finale...

And Photobucket is being mean, and not accepting my password tonight.
The writing says "Prepare for the final battle with the Shadowlords 11/06/09 at 7:30pm, Meet at the counselor Hall"

Now, I would be willing to go out on a limb and suggest that perhaps that should say meet tomorrow night, 9-6-09.

Well, Beowulf had a great time. The open and active gates from the counselors area to the event site are brilliance in action!

That or I literally just missed the exodus to the event.

Got a corruption cloak and Almost broke even on ins money, lol.

I picked up a cloak somewhere along the way, but I would have liked to have seen more of the event ... spent most of the hour staring at a frozen blur of colors while my computer made funny noises.

Oh I also picked up great gains in swords above 110. I think over a point, I'll have to check.

I did die once when the client went into follow-the-cursor-mode when it started to lag, dragging me to the front of the line before I could stop it ... no idea what actually got me. But for most of the evening, friendly people kept casting invisibility on me and even though I twice crashed out to the desktop and once had to reboot, I was intact each time I logged back in.

Yeah I gotta say the One hit kill shot that got what looked to be 3/4 of the shard was a lil overkill but it was funny seeing all those ghost headed the same direction. I just wasnt supposed to be one of them!!! *heads off to write nasty email to em's over thier mistake*

And besides all that Crue never did share her supply of Bottled courage
