The 4/6 chiv dex character would seem to need a nice 5 mod (6 if you count DI) weapon like this. Every mod is near maximum intensity.

Not constructive. Just thought your post was misleading. Elite to me would be Lower Defence 50 Hit Spell 45+ HCI 15 SSI 30 DI 40+

Personally, I value the FC1 and DCI (nearly max) more than HLD alone which I can get from my Mace and Shields which are excellent headwear regardless.

As to the DI, 35 is the maximum at the time, and is a 6th mod. To get over 40 DI, you are automatically limited to a 5 mod monster drop, or the runic has to roll DI, which means a 5 mod weapon again. I prefer a 6 mod weapon with everything on it being useful to me.

To your preference of 30 SSI over 25, on a 2s weapon, if we check the Pub 40 SSI chart below, we see that 25 is absolutely identical to 30, regardless of stamina levels. The mathematics does not lie.
