i was just on my smith/miner and i just noticed i have 110.0 skill in mining. 105.0 with out the ringmail mining gloves. how is this possible. i think i have heard of this before but im not sure.

Heya.

There was a bug awhile ago that enabled this to happen to some characters. It may have been triggered by wearing the +5 gloves and logging out at a specific point a long while back if I recall correctly; maybe the advent of AoS.

In any event, it's basically a free +5 to your real skill. Enjoy.
