Is there a way for EJ accounts to deposit gold in their bank? If so, how?

You have to use the deposit currency option, then target your stack of gold. Also, you need to use the option to Open Bankbox from the context menu when clicking NPC, as just saying "Bank" does not bring up the list of banking options (unless they've changed it recently).

yes, its called subscribing, $10 a month, or $38.50 for 6 months, you get 175 bank storage as well and a house if you want to place one

You can also drop the stack of gold directly on the banker. I find that to be much easier for EJ accounts, the "deposit" option for both gold and items is quite finicky and doesn't like to work half the time.

Don't you have to have the storage upgrade and all expansions for 175 in the bank?
