When crafting these what are the chances of getting 50EP?

To my understanding you get 2-5 properties, and one of the properties is always one of the following: 5str, 5EP, 50EP.

Is there a difference if you make them exceptionally or not?

The chances are not good. I've crafted exceptional rings and had nothing but resists on them with 0 EP.

there use to be a bugg, (which was nice) where if your imbue 5 ep on them and put them on your char and log out it kicks them up to 50 when you log back in, they fix that
,

But sometimes you can get a 50 ep ring with just flat out 50 ep... nothing else on it.. but ecrus are worthless right now unless you run a 4/6 char, or a alchy mage
