EC Crash to Desktop back with latest patch..

this is getting really annoying.. every day, at least 5 times a day my client crashes.. it hasnt done that in months..


they should have fixed this instead of breaking a stupid website that want broken.

Same here, except the crash for me is a client crash to the UO splash/sign on screen..

edit, didnt even notice but it cut about an inch of black off the left as well..

I have been craashing to desktop for a while now

no real pattern rhyme or reason on thing i do notive is that it looks like i have right clicked on my desktop. you know the menu window pops up were the cursor is.

windows 7, alienware with SLI, not mush else running at the asame time and it is almost impossible to have two clients open at all.

i've been crashing to desktop for the past year while using EC. happens anywhere: yew fel moongate, on my boat, in my house, out hunting. it seems the EC will crash after it takes on a lot of information, like some kind of memory leak.

EC got much better over the past few months. Fewer random crashes, one can do champs or em events without crashing all the time now.
What the ec doesnt like here is fast and frequent location changes without giving it a chance to load the area. A termur-magincia-britain-yew-zento-termur trip via moongates at full running speed gives me a very good chance to crash somewhere inbetween.
At least on siege if i do a vendor run and dont slow it down by stopping in certain places.

i think i might have tracked down my issue.. to anyone having crashing with the EC try going into the task manager and making it run on only 1 cpu..

it seems to be more stable this way for me.

An old old KR trick, but the performance is also very bad!
