I have a question and maybe this was brought up before. We were told by EA UO is best advertised by "Word Of Mouth". My question is when I went to the EA store to look up a game to buy I thought maybe ill type in Ultima Online. What I got back was

******************************************************

Warhammer® Online: Age of Reckoning® Warhammer® Online: Age of Reckoning®

Genre: Adventure, Online, Role Playing
Downloadable PC ESRB: Teen
Mild Blood, Suggestive Themes, Use of Alcohol and Tobacco, Violence
Online Interactions Not Rated by the ESRB $39.95 add to cart
Mercenaries 2: World in Flames™ Mercenaries 2: World in Flames™

Genre: Action, Shooter
Downloadable PC ESRB: Teen
Language, Use of Alcohol and Tobacco, Violence
Online Interactions Not Rated by the ESRB $9.95 add to cart
Mercenaries 2: World in Flames™ Mercenaries 2: World in Flames™
*******************************************************

Etc and so on.

Now I know shelf spots are expensive so they say but is it that expensive to have the game on your own website for people to find and buy to play? Maybe i'm thinking wrong but wouldn't that help? Maybe not even have it as a box buy at least maybe it shows up and points to the area to buy the game? Just seems like it would help.

As I said maybe a picture of a box but instead of adding to the cart perhaps have it with a link to the download page.

I will keep looking in case I over looked it.

I also went to the Mythic store to check. Seems like allot download links for Camelot.

I hear you... But really they just do not want to embarass themselves.

Ultima Online is old. Stone age graphics. They need to distance themselves from it. It is simple marketing/branding stategy.

Kinda why I always promote the updating of the graphics, so that EA/Mythic can actually promote it along side thier current projects.

Hopefully they realise it someday!
