Thief Skill, Thief Job, Thief Class, Thief Playstyle, Thief whatever you want to call it.UO doesn't have classes.
This post addresses both PvM Thief's from production shards and PvP Thief's which are found on Siege Perilous and Mugen. So the pvp side would mostly be seen on those two servers but i do want to address our friends who are PvM and daily rare thief's as well.I can...if by living up the thief "play style" again u mean make it fun...here's the 10 words summary..
Is not going to happen as long there is trammel!

I hope you are just trolling, but anyway. Why should a PvM thief be constricted to just Fel? It's not like they harm you in any way and the ones that do are already there by choice. Also, do you really have that hard of a time defending against a thief at a champ that you need to destroy the main way to escape?A thief is a "dastardly" player..has no place getting worked on in candy land..
If anything a thief should be bound to fel..just like a murderer!
Let them steal scrolls off of champs/harrowers..spice up treasure chests in dungeons..
When the chest is opened you can't see item properties so u need to use the item ID skill..only visible to a thief..based off real skill is the tier of items you can get..at real 120 stealing 100 snooping, you have a slim chance at seeing a legendary artifact..once you attempt to steal from a chest/champ you have a 15 second delay before you can hit animal form and the normal delay for hiding..thieves are meant to be "sneaky" not coward llamas ..just my humble 2¢
Candy land should have no place in UOA thief is a "dastardly" player..has no place getting worked on in candy land..
It's about time to changes the damage Trammel made to UO. All facets should be for all playstyles. PvP as well as non PvP. Each char should choose a level of PvP going from no PvP at all -> PvP everywhere, something like 5 levels from:If anything a thief should be bound to fel..just like a murderer!
Explain pleaseNo Trammel, no UO
Not every theft is as noticeable as stabbing a dude in the face.Stealing is an act of aggression against another player, period. And like any other act of aggression towards another player, if it takes place in a guard zone - then the guards should be able to be called to deal with it.
And every steal, no matter how high your stealing is, should flag you grey because of that act of aggression! If you run a thief, then you need to be ready to run...
