Dry Dock Solution

Looks like a solution to the increasing congestion of boats around essential areas such as the pillars and docks will soon be needed.

I suggest that the devs should look into being able to dry dock ships with objects on deck and in the hold. At the same time the dry dock option becomes available, institute decay of boats similar to decay of objects left on ground in game. Allow only one dry docked, loaded boat per account, but allow any number of empty boats to be dry docked. The loaded boat would then act essentially as an additional bank box for the account. All boats left up when a player logs off would be subject to decay.

I feel ocean should have regular decay cycles for ships but near docks and serpent pillars as a example but more locations, should have a 5X speed decay for non attended boats/galleons

Once more, anyway its already ignored.

Gulf Stream or storms in high traffic areas to move boats away.

Well it certainly dont help that if you have a quest you cannot dry dock your boat. As we dont know exactly what the penalty is nobody wants to cancel a quest so the ships all have to be left somewhere.

How about simply letting a ship be dry-docked if there is nothing more on it than the empty game placed quest box and pirate pole? Cannons drydock fine if loaded.

There definitely has to be something done about the obstacle course of ships left around docks and the pillars with no one on them. How about having them dry-docked automatically after three hours left unattended with the goods in the ship put in stoage at a random town location charging a fee equal to 0.1% of the gold balance shown on their insurance list per real life day? Would be a real gold sink the way ships are left sitting around.
