So last night I went to bed just after reading the regular post IE (ending scripting, COME on cal Whacha gonna do, when UO Players run all over you!! type of post)
And I ended up having a dream, Which also means I need to take a break from UO, BUTTT.....
Heres my Idea, Complicate the skill tower. My thought and Bare with me, is a little something like this
So lets take Tailoring! These are just examples so no exacts here folks.
0-30 (Break it apart into small quest and or you may buy it)
30-32(Small quest and Some crafting)
32-36( Scavenger hunt quest/ crafting)
(Fill in the rest)
Yada Yada Yada.
#1 most important thing is it would break up the "Skill grind". Players are screaming for depth, thats what I think. If we can make the approach just not press F10, over and over and over, or clicking make max over and over, and actually have some real depth to the process, weather its Magery or Forensic ID, It shouldn't matter.
Good Idea? Bad? I think lately we just been a little obnoxious towards the DEV team, Instead of coming up with ideas (I know I know they are paid there 7-11 wages, They should figure it out!!!), Its a complicated process when 90% of UO population uses them.
