Dragon's Blood

Ok ... rather than waste time killing any more reptiles for dragon's blood and not finding it ... can someone tell me what drops this and the quickest/easiest place to farm it.

UO Guide says any reptilian and i havent gotten any off Lizard Men, Alligators or Drakes ... was hoping this was something i could collect while working my lower skilled fighter (so no dragons!).

All the info on Stratics about it i've found refers to it as rare old necro regs. =)

you must skin them to get the dragon blood

Thanks. I have been and havent gotten any drops. Maybe it isnt as common as i thought "common drop" would be... or maybe i have to be in Ter Mur?

You should get 8 bloods when you skin it. The vials of the blood may have dropped under the loot on the body.

kill and skin drakes in felucca = 16 dragons blood per.

Anything you kill in Ter-Mur will give you dragon's blood.

Thanks, i've reconfirmed that lizard men in Tram dont drop them (at least for me). I'll try the drakes, but was hoping for somethign easy enough for my fighter to kill. =)

LOL, you have to use a knife of some kind on them after you kill them to get the blood.

After you kill them you have to double click on a dagger or skinning knife of any kind and then target the monster corpse. This will carve all useful products from the beast and leave them on the corpse.

Just open the corpse after you carve it up and you will find the blood and skin or hides etc...

Thought i had communicated this before ... I AM skinning them. Nada on Lizzies in Tram anyway.

Oh well, guess i have to bring out a more powerful char to hunt. I miss the days when a fighter char was useful without having to be all GM and cookie cutter template

Chicken Lizards drop them too in Ter Mur. If you don't mind the bad Karma.

Do you have Stygian Abyss upgrade?? If you do not have the upgrade you will not get them if I remember correctly.

Was just hoping lizard men in Despise dropped them. Finally gave up and went to Destard with my tamer and farmed some ... was just disappointed that my fighter char couldnt farm some up while training on something easy.

Try farming Sliths and boura in Ter Mur for the training. They give the blood, and come in 3 species each, of rising difficulty (so you switch to the next-hardest type after your gains slow on the ones you're doing).

They aren't but they have the dragon's blood anyway. As I stated before almost everything you kill in Ter-Mer gives you Dragon's Blood when you skin the critter and some you don't have to skin.
