ok i have a minnie's melodyland doodle because i can't afford one from dreamland lol should i bother training her or wait and buy a dreamland one and then max it? and what's the fastest way to train a doodle? just play with her for a couple hours a day?

Well if you want faster results get a DDL doodle. It takes a long time to max no matter wich doodle you get. Go for the ones with good traits, not saying to get an ugly one though, just wait untill you see a pretty one.

I second what Soup said with one more addition. I wanted to ensure you are aware of the bean fest we have every Sunday. The amount we throw every week will vary but it's a very quick way to add a ton of beans to your bank which should go a long way towards getting a DDL doodle even if it takes a couple weeks of bean fests.

Yep, wait for a DDL one. There is a stratics tutorial on doodles. I have a thing for game pets, and adopted a LOT of doodles during the making of the tutorial. No matter what rumors you may have heard, all doodles returned to the pet store were put up for adoption to a good home.

I totally agree with the DDL doodle thing. Most of my toons FINALLY have doodles. Sally's doodle came from TTC I think. Precious and Bella Rose got them from DDL. When I need a tune up quick, I can head to either estate and am tuned in a hurry. (Sally's doodle is still useless) I used to think doodles were lawn ornaments that just get in your way when you are talking or gardening. If your problem is your bank situation, just wait until you get a bank that is big enough. I know that is my problem right now with newer toons. My bank wont hold enough beans to buy a DDL doodle. Just wait it out and buy the bigger banks as soon as they are available, it will be worth it!!!

One thing that bugs me is that when Sally got her doodle, you could name your doodle anything you want. Now you have to choose one of their names. I was going to name Precious' doodle Gollum but it wouldn't let me.

One thing that bugs me is that when Sally got her doodle, you could name your doodle anything you want. Now you have to choose one of their names.

You have been playing a lot longer than me. I cant get the last emote for about 150 days. I named Sally's doodle Nancy after a real life friend as a joke. I was sure I typed it in but it was a long time ago!! I just looked at the doodles and sure enough "Nancy" is there. I must have just seen it but I was sure I typed it! Oh well, I will blame senile dementia.

Yeah, just give it time and bigger banks will show up in the catalog. I always make sure I save some beans in my bank to buy the next size bank until I have the 10,000 bean bank. Then you can really fill up on beans.
