I don't know if it's just me or not, but I just logged out to get something from one of my other characters, and now I'm getting the "problem communicating with Origin" message.

Now and then it'll tell me the servers are down too. Just an FYI, if you're in now, might want to stay there.

It's sporadic so you may be able to login after a couple attempts. I was able to eventually log in after receiving 2 different error messages (i.e. servers are down, cannot communicate with origin)

It took quite a few tries, but I managed to push my way in. I'm not logging out though.

It happens ALL THE TIME, this is ridiculous.

Game servers are running fine and for some reason the login servers are overloaded. Eventually, after the 10th try you can log in, but this is a shame and really needs a fix.

It was easier connecting to the servers 12 years ago folks, someone's not doing his homework on this

Used to be a problem sure, but seems it's even worse the last few months
And I would hazard a guess that we have fewer actual players logging in now, than we did then! (actual players loggin in, NOT account subs)

a little bit scarier...

earlier was logging in characters across shards to collect tickets, got halfway down a list of one shard and suddenly received "check your caps lock, account may not yet be active" yadda yadda........ typed pass in a few more times (cause usually it's a matter of my fingers out of sequence) and nope, would not work

go to accounts page.... told on first try that I had attempted too many logins and "click here".... because this is a shared account, I did not 'click here' but sent email to buddy that shares it.... went and got coffee, played with one of the cats and came back... "maybe try one more time" says I.... logged in on first attempt

buddy did not contact EA, either did I... I'm thinking that nobody should have been able to log into that account due to the 'too many attempts' thing, but I did
