Does anyone have resist on their tamer?

I have been thinking about adding resist to my tamer, mainly to stop the nasty paralyze spell. Does anyone else have this on their template? Hows it working out for you?

It really depends on how you use your tamer. If you are getting targeted alot its usually because your not sending in the pet fast enough. Or maybe your fight AoE casters or even for PvP where resist spells is vital depending on who your fighting.

But If your just doing some good ole PvE resist shouldn't be necessary at all. Heck thats what the pets are for! Try slowing down your approach to a spawn and watch the "argo cycle" for the mobs there. They tend to attack at set intervals and if you get used to it you should be able to manage to never have arrgo on the tamer. There are a few exceptions to that but for the most part unless your hunting paragons AoE casters changelings or players it shouldnt be necessary.

My PVE Tamer had Magic Resist on it but after rejoining the game after a long hiatus I moved the resist to another character. My tamer with a 70's resist suit I don't suffer from spell casters for the brief period they are targetting me.

You can use pouches magic trapped so that you can break out of paralyze. With a 70's suit the damage shouldn't be more that you can handle before you can break out an invis.

I fight changelings all the time and I rarely ever have an issue.

Paragon's you just have to watch yourself carefully. They can be an issue.

I have a traditional Tamer / Mage. I moved Magic Resist off the character to free up a slot for Spell Weaving which allows my tamer to heal from a distance when needed for AOE mobs.
