Does anyone have any examples using vines in their house design?

Hiya, With so many of these new creeping vines and the old green thorn vines I was trying to cover an entire 3 story wall of my house in them, But it doesn't look right. :(

Does anyone have any examples of this so I could get some tips, Thanks. :)

I've only just bought a couple and haven't had the time to really take a look at them.

If I were trying a design similar to that, I think that I would build from the bottom up logically, meaning i wouldn't put an upper one that didn't appear connected to a lower one. Also I would build the lower levels quite a bit more dense than the upper levels. I would also not make the 'coverage' very unified.

Feel free to post a pic of your current design. Are you building the vines on a lighter or darker surface? on a lighter surface they would stand out, or pop, alot more, whereas on a darker surface they would be a bit more subtle.

As far as I know there are three kinds of thorn-gotten (or whipping vine) vines that all face two directions, and two kinds of thick t chest (or abyss champ spawn) vines that face two directions.

The thorn vines sit differently. There are two that lay flat (thick folliaged and thin folliaged) and the third kind is more for corners I think. Because they sit differently if you lay a thick one next to a thin one they will either overlap or leave a gap in the wall in between them. So usually when I do a wall with vines I try to use the exact same kind all across it, or layer the vines so there are no gaps for fuller coverage.

I haven't messed around with the t chest vines at all. Since they're not very wide I don't think they would give good wall coverage, but could be nice as filler here and there or on the ends of walls, or against pillars maybe.

If you're doing more than one level of vines you might try to put the corner thorn vines at the end of where the top vines would be, since the thorn vines are a bit rectangular and might not flow as well. If I have time tonight I'll mess around with it and put up some pictures.
