As of recent events, I think it may be time to rest my nimble fingers for a while, or possibly, for good. I have accomplished a majority of the things I have wanted as a thief, and it may be time to move onto other adventures within the world of Britannia....


Oblivion, the infamous thief, is contemplating retirement and enjoying the perks of being a private collector.


This may be good to most, or bad news to some, depending on who you are.....but what do you think?


Should I allow Britannia to be a safer place, or should I still continue to cause some havoc?

I find a majority of my time spent on Oblivion --- I've barely explored the SA expansion, rarely play other characters, haven't PvPed in years, want to check out the new PvM...etc.

Hey, it may keep others pockets full, or give the opportunity to the other thieves out there.

Also (I forgot to add when originally posting this reply) --- I enjoy doing what I do when others find it entertaining as well. Some people like the villian, and there aren't that many out there nowadays....don't want to disappoint 'em!

What is the fun in that? Much more rewarding getting away with a steal as someone who has a reputation for being a thief.....especially if the person is a high profile rare collector.

I could use a disguise kit or name change token and change my outfit at anytime....but never have, nor will.

Agreed, but I am not one to feed my "ego" --- still wondering what people think as an opinion. I still play the thief because:

1. I like to do it
2. Other people are continuously entertained by it.


I've been doing it for quite a while, and it's almost an excuse to stop doing it for a bit. But, it makes it that much more difficult to do so if other people want me to continue.


Plus, I am in fact curious to see who knows me, who doesn't, who cares and who could careless.
