I know I could sell these for decent gold, but they would soon be faction dyed by the owner on the 30% chance (Assuming 30% hero, 30% evil, 40% non-faction) that they could get them back eventually.. so I am torn.

I like them.
If they are priced well, they are good items to circulate, to keep all the non rich, non faction people decently geared.

your right about the hero dye tho =p I dye all the gear I dont want to lose, hoping that if I get pked it might get sold back to me.

Blech you are no help.. I have 30-50 cursed items that would easily get me a lot of gold. But as soon as I sell them, they will be faction dyed. I miss the pre-faction-revamp days (the first 5 months I played).

When I started on Siege, cursed items were simply items being passed around from one kill/loot steal to the next. The good old days of the after-Magincia invasion months I guess. Now with the faction revamp, these items are limited in circulation once someone decides to faction-dye them.
To be honest I would need a pretty penny to sell them knowing that once sold the original buyer has a very high chance of getting the item back.. (why would an evil/non-faction buy a hero item except to hoard or trash it?)
This is more of a rant.. but if you factioneers want to bid on cursed items be my guest.. Shout out a cursed arti I probably have 1 or 5.

This wasn't an attempt at bids.. I don't know why I made this post. I guess it's a rant at how.. despite my loathe of saying it, I agree with BR, cursed items should stick around (in my mind unable to be faction dyed.. keep them circulating). I may not agree with him 100% that they should be always spawning, they should be never-decaying/trashed/dyed/locked-down.

nope, I'm Tek, Astynax, Nerve damage, Sionbrea, Siege Pride and Forsythe...two crafters Siege Pride and Forsythe run LRC suits and are non faction. The other four run faction suits and would never run any cursed artifacts on them...faction arties are much much better and my jewlery roxxors any artifact there is!!!
So you see, they are not for factions...and if your soooooooo worried about losing them, join factions yourself and open yourself up to a whole new ballgame!!

Heh didn't know you were Astynax, I like that person.. but as I said.. this thread was more about my dismay at the future market of these items since they have nowhere else to go but to factions or the trash. And I don't have 5 AoFs!
