DLing clients..

Since the developers have been so generous as to allow free gameplay up until October 16, I figured I may as well take this opportunity to break away from my hiatus and explore some of the new changes/features. To get to the point I went to visit the client DL page on the Herald and it has two options, one for the enhanced beta client which I will assume to be the revamped KR client, and the classic client. I could be wrong about the first one (you never know). Anyways moving along, I was curious if anyone knows the file size of each DL since I'm restricted to a specific amount of DL content each month (mobile broadband). Thanks to any replies in advance!

If I remember correctly, the classic was around 2G and the Enhanced was around 2.2 or 2.4G. The Enhanced is the new client that is still in beta and the Classic is the 2d modified for SA content.

I just recently seen the free game play and decided to install uo with samurai empire disc but the patch kept saying the client was to old and wouldnt patch so i downloaded the classic client from UO website and for some reason i cant get it to run. Anyone have any idea whats going on?

They should really have updated the installer for the classic client. It is 3 years old now. People won't be too happy to download it and then get hit with hundreds of megabytes worth of patches.

The INITIAL download for the Enhanced client isn't all that big as in rfeality, it's really just the patching program. Then the SECOND download (the first patch) is the 2.x gig download that brings you completely up to date due to how the ENhanced patch system works.

As JC says, with Classic, you have it at whatever version, then it's EVERY patch between that version and today that you have to download.

downloaded it again, its Setup-1.46.0.3, when i double click and hit run nothing happens anyone else having this problem?
