I've read in the UO Guide that it is possible for a GM Carpenter with Imbuing skills to create a Soulforge. Is this still true, I can't find any reference on Stratics?:wall:

True, though I don't recall the exact level skill requirements.

I wonder where to get a soulforge in the first place?

Currently I'm putting it in a bag and haul the stuff to Ter Mur for unravelling.

you can make it with oak or higher and then dye it before placing. once placed you cannot dye it.

this image is with tonokia dyes but you can use plant dyes too.

once placed and redeeded you cannot dye it.

for unraveling purposes always use the queens forge.. it gives you a bonus that you do not get with a house one.

The queens forge gives a bonus to imbuing if you have the loyality points as well. Lorddog I never knew they could be dyed thanks for that.

one thing to note, you dont need the points to unravel there..

Your right my previous post was vague. Loyalty is only need to imbue there not to unravel so its where you should do as much of your unraveling as you can.

I find most of those dyes a bit bright for my taste, but I love the one I have that was dyed with plain plant dye.
I tried that dye on a few things on test center.

You can also make colored forges by using colored wood to make them with like frostwood blue and bloodwood red and heartwood green.

I like the natural plant dye as well. It's kinda silver. Beautiful forge there.

They follow the same rules as other carpentry add on deeds, details here under the heading 'colors'.
Deeds must be crafted in special wood and dyed before they are placed. An axed deed has the opposite orientation and is blessed. This makes it undyeable.
