Discovering Animal Training Quest???

I am pretty sure this has been asking and I have looked but cant seem to find the answers....How do you train your current pets in the new skills? The quest says go tame a pet however I want to train my current pet. Again sorry if this has been asked before!

Just tame any other pet and release it. It could be a dog in-town just to start the quest off and revisit the Animal Trainer. Then you can get your old pets and should be able to start training. Bear in mind, some are complaining about making mistakes with their old pets so you might want to make sure you've got everything planned out before committing to training. For myself, I'm actually testing this all out on newly tamed pets first.

Finishing it gives you a title option. I forget what it is, however.

a reward title "Ethologist" and it is a repeatable quest, so you can do it over for all your chars (in case they decided to do away with the quest, they will have it)
