If my pet has 120 discord does it actually use 30 Mana per attempt at discording a target? Seems like it would go Mana broke fast

Once a Disco attempt is successful, there are no more mana dumps from your pet. If the attempts fail or you cause them to fail (due to discoing your own pet to gain disco) then it will use up mana.

Ahh okay, so what about Runic Corruption on a Rune Beetle? since that's like his built in ability, does that use mana?

All abilities use mana. Even healing and poison use mana. Most abilities use 20-30 mana each time the pet uses it.
