Difference between crafting with runic or reforging with runic

Im trying to craft luck armor. My question is what is the difference between making the armor with a runic or reforging with runic ? Other than the reforging adds a name to the item. Also with reforging are you able to reforge an item with luck all the time without brittle or cannot be repaired added ? If so, what settings do you have to set to accomplish this ?

reforging can give mods that runic crafting cannot. (newer Stygian abyss mods etc) Also at higher runic levels the reforging can give higher mods and stuff over cap.


for luck you want to select the Of Fortune name mod, some names arent available on all runics, so you might need to use a mid/lower level runic.

runic craft - cheapest (1 use), allow colored material, random mods with normal caps

reforging - cost more uses, base item normal material only (you may enhance later), more control on mods with increased caps
