That you cannot add mage armor to metal armor that spawns as monster loot? Just now discovered this.:blushing:

That getting wood like bloodwood is almost IMPOSSIBLE. Ive both gone on lumber walks for 4 hours AND refarmed the same patch of forest over and over for 5 hours AND NEVER GOTTEN ONE PIECE. I have 7k heartwood btw if anyone wants to do trades.:thumbsup:

That ANYONE with 0 imbueing skill can get all the beginning residue you want just by bagging all yur monster loot, taking it to a soul forge, and unraveling it all in one container. Theres going to be pieces that you cannot unravel, usually like 10 pieces in a bag of 80. But you'll get 100-200 residue for the other 70 pieces. So when I see vendors selling this stuff for 10k gold for 100 of them, it just makes me shake my head.:coco:

That anyone trying for 70 focus or med can do so faster by being drunk. I do not understand the logic in this.:coco:

Privates Secures: Edit: this trick changed the day after i posted this, owner now only means owner of the house and not the container.

That any friend can have a personal container for them that is secure and cannot be accessed by any other friend/co-owner by doing the following; Have the owner of the house target them with access first (I have only tried this in private houses), then target them with co-owner status, while co-owner for this brief period have them secure a container (or a few) and tell them to set it for owner only (them being the owner of that secure container). Then remove them as co-owner, and retarget them as Friend. Now that person has access to secures that only he and the house owner can access. I have set multiable friends up with private secures this way. On a second account I have tried everything I can as both a different friend and another co-owner and have found no way to access the private secures that were made in this fashion.:danceb:

Interesting tidbits, Guardian. The one about making private secures seems to have become borked over the last couple of days, however. Might want to double check anything you set up that way.

Edited to add: This thread in the Players Corner forum has some interesting tips in it too: http://vboards.stratics.com/uo-players-corner/136673-uo-tips.html. Sarsmi started another thread shortly before that one and a bunch of folks submitted their tips. Then she organized them all, nice and neat. Always fun to learn these little tips!

Wear a corrupted cloak. They reduce your stats to 1 each and continue to do so after you regain health. Great for stat gains, med gains, focus gains, healing gains... maybe other sweet gains.

That if you get a throwing power scroll you cannot eat it unless your character is actually a Gargoyal.

Bought a 120 today (for 125k, i was like OMG) and couldnt eat it. Placed it next to my race change tokens... No rush. (gobbled a 120 Disco for 100k as well, yummy)

To gain Resist spells.
Cast Feeblemind on your self
all the way to 120

First Circle spell can level you to 120 resist
yet you cant cast an apple when you need it !
