Did I ruin my Rune Beetle?

So I have been pet training my Rune Beetle. I got him to five slots and have 1500 points. I thought giving him Magery Mastery would just replace Magery but it replaced both poisoning and magery and now it will not let me put both on at once. Did I ruin my Rune Beetle? I'll be more than a little annoyed with myself because he had 126 poisoning and was really good and I spent some time training him up.

Get another one. Thats why you put scrolls on last if you havent made a test run. They are easy to train.

Thanks guys. Only thing that sucks is he was like 11 years old. Ah well, I have other old pets from back in high school.

Dang, I was gonna character copy to test, but it wasn't available at the moment. Whelp, gonna be releasing him. Time to go hunting for another great one. Gonna be more careful from now on.

This one I had started at 3, when I got it to 5 was when I made my dumb mistake, he had great dex too, above 150. I was lucky because he was a random I tamed. I got lucky lol

I got a good one, 125.3 poison. 108.5 eval. 168 Dex. Only 403 strength and 341 hits but I like him.I was going for 125 poison and 105+ eval anyway

I feel the pain . After ruining few pets I started to use character copy to test center always before "bigger changes" on pet... Anyways I hope RNG gods gives you shiny new beetle !
