dex on my fire steed stuck at 112

I am training a fire steed with my rune beetle on sphynx...I cannot get the dex to break over 112

any suggestions?

figured it out...pet must be lead attacker in order to gain stats....on sphynx, it is a secondary attacker

took it to fight titans and cyclopse....gained dex immediately

Yeah, if you have multiple pets fighting a target the first of them will get the better gains. They also seem to mana dump and drop stamina fastest so I usually let multiple pets take turns attacking first. Then they can regen int/stam and the other pet(s) get gains.

Just a hint, whichever pet you take out of the stable first, if you are fighting with more than one pet, will be the lead attacker (a.k.a. the "tank").
