Devs: Stop house timer for japanese player

i bet.many japanese uo player cant play uo in the near future... you should stop the timer for japanese player....they should not lose their houses because of the earthquake

Unless the rules are different, the only time the house decay timer comes into play is when an account is no longer being payed for.

The house timer for paid accounts was removed after 9/11 to accomodate servicemen who were sent out on active duty.

While the thought is a good one, I don't think it is an issue any longer.

let say today was the last payed day for an japanese player account...so the timer will start TODAY.. and in 90 days the house start to go idoc....

i dont think ,they will be back to normal in japan in the next 90 days

I would say that a better option would be to freeze billing of accounts in the affected areas for a few months until things get a bit more in control.

I believe that would do more to help than the houses (which really aren't an issuesince you're talking about cancelled accounts anyway).

90 days is quite some time away.

EA Japan is a completely separate department too, so posting here probably wouldn't do much, if anything.

Banks have to be operating and any other institution they use to pay for their accounts for that matter.

During hurricane Katrina in the US, they looked after subscribers in the region, I don't think EA Japan will let their players loose anything while they get back on their feet.
