Should a few childish players have the right to disrupt events for the players who really care about what is going on?

unfortunately thats what the freedom of speech thing gets you.


I was at the event on Cats, and didnt find it hard to follow both Casca or Sherry. However, the TEXT for sherry could have been a different colour a la our king Casca.

As for squelching, not needed. however, getting guardwhacked would have been a nice install.

Perhaps this would be a good opportunity for Casca to show a little of the swift justice that he has warned would be required? Some of the comments coming from the crowd are downright treasonous. I have heard there exist jails for which imprisonment is a punishment worse than death?

Ah yes. Nothing like becoming a political prisoner in an online game!!

Perhaps Casca will convert the old orc fort near Cove into a concentration camp?

It was Rainz, and it was fire field. I was standing right there when it happened.

And I did try on Casca. Both Flamestrike, and Fire Field, the later of which said I could not cast it in town.

Personally I'd love to see every dragon/white wyrm/greater dragon, or other large size creature that goes to this event and other like events be sent to the Ethereal Void for good.

If there's no combat involved and merely an event taking place, there is no reason to have these huge behemoths in everyone's way. Leave them stabled or at home.

Your dragon doesn't impress me, put it away.

I thought that it was actually a Fire Field that dropped old Lord British, as I recall...maybe both. I sure could be wrong...

Yeah, I didn't understand the need to bring huge pets to the event, other than to grief.

I don't know if it could be done, but the devs should implement some kind of code that blocks all pets, including mounts, within a certain number of tiles of events like this...like say 3 screens in any direction.

Of course, I wouldn't want to see anyone dragged off to gulag for having them or anything.

Yes! That is what I was hoping for. He was a prosecutor and is now a King. By gosh, I wanna see some punishment!

Agreed Galen, although to be honest, those of us who crossed over last night knew what would probably happen, so it wasn't too big of an issue, and even then it was just a couple of kiddies acting as normal for their location.

But yes, LS's events have been VERY enjoyable thanks to the overall maturity of the people there.

We are but barbarians. There will be friction with some of the warriors as our different tribes try to unite against a common foe. Some warriors feel they need a dragon by their side for protection, even in the royal chambers. Others will try to out shout those with whom they disagree. But after two or three gatherings most will learn the 'etiquette' of a warrior gathering.
