I would really like to play a thrower, but they have so many disadvantages compared to an archer that it's really not fun.
Apart from the natural restrictions on artifacts as a gargoyle, there are some severe bugs that really gall the experience:
Throwing could be such a cool skill, but because of the afore mentioned bugs and mechanics practically nobody plays one. Please change that!

- Swing Speed: You can't seem to swing faster than 1.75 sec, even when you dex and ssi on the weapon say that you should be swinging at 1.25
- First Hit: More often than not, you miss on the first swing. Even on really really weak targets (cows, sheep, gypsies) that you normally are able to hit 100% of the time with 120 weapon skill and 45hci (50 even for gargs).
- Sweet Spot: Not really a bug, but you should really consider removing the sweet spot mechanic on Throwing. It a real big drawback with no advantages, when compared to the other ranged skill, archery.
