DEV's Please DONT change the Shield Reward!

I am starting to see a few requests for make the shield obtainable outside of the Vet Reward system or to change it so that more people can use it...

PLEASE DONT!

There is no reason to change it, no need to change it and so it SHOULDNT be changed. Its a nice reward for the 14 year Vets, So let them and them alone have it.

I'm no-where near a 14 year Vet and as much as I would like it, I would rather earn it when I've been a player for 14 years thank you very much.

Agree with you. The shield is good enough as it is. Risky enough to have something like this as a vet reward given how profitable the single transfer tokens must be for them.

your wrong and thats all iam saying...last post on the matter form me.... i will wait and stack the gifts for 2 more years...its just something i think everyone should be able to do...its like the best reward ever and most useable....i can wait...its just a shame for the 1/2/3 year players it may put them off for good...its like when u first started uo.... dreamed of riding a ethy horse,,,2 years seemed a mile stone away....so 12 years or more for the younger players will just kill any hopes they have....[sorry devs and other player this is a bad move...END]

Sorry THP, I believe you are wrong. In all the polls the majority has spoken to leave the shields as they are, not to add them to the UOGamecodes and in short not to weaken the reward as its given.

You'll get the shields before I will and I believe that you have a right to those ONCE you reach 14 years. As for me, I've got another 4 years yet as a minimum.

Actually, not all the polls does the majority think the shields should stay as they are currently.

The What year should they be poll, only has 44% saying it should stay only a 14th year reward. 56% think it should be a younger year.

Agreed, my account is 6th or 7th year I think but I'm happy for these to be a 14th year reward. They shouldn't be buyable, transferable. The only thing I do think is ok is gold sink to change them once every 2 months.

Now these threads really need to stop
