Can you adjust the house building over slight bumps and rocks please. I mean seriously!! In the past you could place homes over small bumps and rocks but now there are very few places you can build castles/keeps. If you look around Wrong you will see old castles and keeps standing but as they fall you cannot rebuild due to very small bumps in the land. Its not that big of a deal to at least increase the area of the world so your current paying players can have a chance for a larger home.

I know this is a "have v. have-not" thread and I guess if I was the only person on a shard with a castle I'd like to secure/raise its value by limiting the land. But honestly, they should allow a little more flexibility in large home placing when others are built in the area in the past.

And I know you can increase your chances for a large house by:

1- Being lucky
2- Being able to sit at IDOC's (which seem to mostly drop while its work hours)
3- Being in a guild/having in game friends

My account just hit 96 months. So 8 years of paying and no keep/castle... I know there are older accounts without and younger accounts that have a castle but honestly.. 8 years and no chance at a larger house.

How about a minor change:

When an account hits 5 years it can use an "advanced house placement tool" which will ignore small rocks and humps.

When an account hits 10 years make a castle deed be a vet reward which will demolish trees, smalls rocks and humps to place.

There are not enough players where you cannot allow those of us still playing to build a large house.

Good luck with this request sugar.... ages ago the land changed and the rules for placement. Oh we got them to negate mushrooms, some rocks and fallen logs... but the irregular land placements was part in the package they wanted to stop house placement of any that would cause the need for a GM call. Why a GM? Well for one thing the irregular land placement of a house caused some bugs that required a GM call every now and then ... like bags and boxes falling through the floor hence you loosing items... GM's hated this. Case in point is the Improperly placed homes tag many got when the house changed hit in.

While I'd love them to give a special tree removal for the edge of keeps and castles rule but I seriously doubt it will come to pass in my life time. (dont know how mnay times in the past 1 bloody tree blocked placement) OR that ripple land to be smoothed out for house larger then a 7 x 7! It just wont happen.

As for your lack of a castle or keep .... well it is luck, and alot of hard work to master mind the aqusition of land to do so. Without the sneeky eyes of another who has the very same idea or stumbles in on your site and snags it before you can utter Shazam!

P.S. alot of posters here would rather see the castle owners disapear as they feel the building is of no use along with keeps as well. This is fact many have advocated to havethem removed from the house system.. they want cookie cutter looks same size for all.... kind of reminds me of life in the suburbs you cant find your house cause they all look the same unless yours is painted a different color....

A castle deed should never, ever be a vet reward. And altering the terrain to suit the desires of every player is not a good idea.

It isn't difficult these days to find spots to place an 18x18 on most shards, with the possible exception of Atlantic.

I've always wondered why some people feel deprived just because they can't place a castle. *shrugs*

They need to fix the Zento area too.

It used to be possible to place houses right up to the town wall, with only 1 step between the stairs and the wall. Now there needs to be 5 tiles distance or so. And there's a problem placing in the west row of a plot too.

So those 18x18s that fell can't be rebuilt, people are often stuck with 13x17's now as for some reason you can no longer build on the west tile row next to the plants either.

Hmm..I didn't know there were such low player population shards where you can actually place castles. What shard(s) out there actually have free space for castles as I may transfer if so.

lol 10 castles on origin. I love it. boy it would sure be nice to have those grouped together
