Before the Great Crash, we all had access to a special listing of all developer posts. We need to get this back.

For now you can click advanced search (http://vboards.stratics.com/search.php) put 'Mythic' into the username box then untick 'Exact Name' and that will bring up all the Dev posts.

The problem is that "for now" has been, what, over 2 years now? Your reply was basically "Screw you, do it yourself."

At current time what Mapper said is all we can offer. The problem is under consideration and as soon as I know something worth sharing, I'll share it.

I am sure others can answer better what i would like is a place that would show any post made by a developer or mystic employee. i want one place to go and see and read any comment they made on any thread

The thing we had before was essentially a page that acted like an automatic search that listed, in reverse chronological order, every post in the UO part of the forums made by someone with a VIP tag.

They don't want evidence for us to hang em with. Do not expect this to happen.

I certainly wasn't saying that, What you want is a way of getting what I showed you in one click, That isn't available at the moment so I explained how to get it in several clicks.

Basically, on the uo.stratics.com homepage, there used to be an additional section right under "UO General Announcements & Official News" and above "Quests and Event News" that was titled "Developer Posts" or something like that.

Under the "Developer Posts" section, each known developer was listed and clicking on their name took you to a list of their posts - with the most recent on top.

Right now, I know I miss many developer posts in random threads and I hate to miss something!

Please bring this back!

you may wish to retract that ... see post by Tazar responding to JHall about what it was exactly. And who is this "they" you speak of? Not Stratics as they (Stratics) is trying to actually get something that was requested.

Actually, Tazar, what JHall and his staff are currently trying to set up is a replacement for the developer's post board we had on UBB. A kind of rss feed that copies all posts by Devs to an additional board.

Well, if I understand correctly there is an easy workaround... create the search and use a hyperlink for the one-click. For example, to search for all posts by Cal_Mythic you would hyperlink to http://vboards.stratics.com/search.php?searchid=3941350:

The "best" way is to create a MySQL search, but I'm no database expert.

That would certainly do - as long as the info is easily accessible and visible. I really do miss the section on uo.stratics.com and when I saw the OP, that is what I thought he was talking about. It was very visible on the home-page.

Although... I guess I am still a little old-fashioned since I always go through the home-page before going to the forums... and I still use the left-column rather than the drop-down menu's so many seem to favor.

That's what I have in my posting above... just a link to the searches for the individual Developers. I don't know how to do a wild-card search though.
