Despair 30+18 Man= 48 1st Tick of Damage

Despair is using 30 Mana plus the 18 Upkeep mana before you get the 1st tick of damage. Should it not hit on the cast when it uses my 30 mana, then hit again on the upkeep when it takes the upkeep mana?

I think its pretty powerful already, its subject to LMC so...

No the subject is the use of mana and no damage.. say you had only 30 mana to cast it and wanted to do damage. the way it works now is use of mana and no return. If nothing else 48 mana use and should still hit on 1st tick.

Its being tweaked a bit I believe. There is a thread about it over in the bard forum.

I think the mana is being reduced, but so is the damage.
