Has anyone used this special in PvP?

Stratics Definition:

Defense Mastery - Raises your physical resistance for a short time while lowering your ability to inflict damage. Requires Bushido or Ninjitsu skill.

Anyone know what the phys is raised to? Is 70 still your resist cap with this? Or is this similar to fient. I have no clue how it works and I'm curious, but at work so I can't test.

defense mastery does seem useless, both by Athos explanation and trying it out.
