gave the answers to testers! Goddamn it all. I'd been following Inu's sayings and the stuff about the 6's (and much more), and had already been working on the virtues and all, and then figure out the Virtue Stones. I'd spent allot of time over the months since Inu started on all this.

Now when it's coming together, I find out you just gave the answers to this part to some testers.

What a bummer. You took my game away, since this is the type of stuff I like to do.

At least your doing something very deep and interesting. But right now all I can say is "damnit all!"

That's really too bad for those of us who are still looking for the answers, as the testers already have them and are a step up on us.

But I suppose that could be justifiable in the "You did work for them for free and deserve some kind of reward" sort of way.

Just don't spill the beans unless the beans have a definite advantage to ... me. And then only via private lines. wink wink, nudge nudge.

But maybe I was wrong. I told someone that I was going to post that I figured out it was about the Virtue Stones, and he said "I know. I was in the Beta." But then he went on to say what a fan he was of Ultima and played all the games. Maybe I misunderstood about what beta he was in. Maybe he meant the original beta, and was simply saying that he was a big fan of Ultima.

Hard to say.

He wasn't a new tester. He meant Beta from UO from 11 years ago. We did have a quest for the virtue stones, but there was eight of them. And if I remember right it was early on during the 1st year not Beta. The used the dinner plate shapes and were colored. And if I remember the quest right we fought three shadowlords who were only named shadowlords, all black ghost shapes. Very hard to kill.
