Regardless of any changes in this game...the Stealthing Animal Tamer may
well be the best Template at this point in time.

Really, even if everyone has the best equipment the 'All Kill' Template still
works well enough.

Few weeks ago Neo actually took of taming, only to find nothing but pets to fight just need to deal and do the best you can!

And belive me we feel the same way when you have 5 mages on and do nothing buy para gank.

If there are too many enemy tamers in the field I just jump on my BLUE disco mule and disco pets. You sorry ass pvpers don't like taking counts I guess. That is why we never face many disco bards against our pets cause I have the nutsack to be red and just kill your lousy bards.

I have always played a stealther. I am sorry if ea/osi/mythic decided to make them more powerful. And when they nerf them I will still play a stealther. I don't change templates like my underwear like lots of you guys do. Nobody was crying poor Mr X years ago when 20 tracking and the reveal spell owned my hiding stealth.

I actually considered going after you with a red warrior, but so close to town, so many enemy dismounters around, and the fact you would be back discording in less time than it took me to kill you made me reconsider. thats still being a coward except now you opt out on stat loss, grow a pair join factions on all charactors that are intended for faction fights

Valid points, but then again I have never been a fan of factions and would not even be in them except for my guild. I still like the old days when everyone just killed everyone and there was none of this crap. I do not like any of the faction stuff honestly. As far back as the faction made items being blessed for three weeks, I thought that was dumb as all hell. And it never got any better.

The problem comes down to the fact factions is a forced system, and with any forced system there will be ways to exploit it. Nobody cares about sigils or towns anymore really, so all people join factions for is monster ignore and faction artifacts. My mule needs neither of these (though honor works well too for a limited time) so he is not in factions. But you can't say I can't disco your pets or whatever because say I am out farming and your faction tamer attacks me? I can't disco your pets because you are in factions? That does not seem fair.

It is just a poor system for such instances. But that is what UO is now, poorly implemented systems hodgepodged together.

I believe the problem with non-factioners comes in near guard zones. If your discorder dies in the wilderness, away from a bank, he's not back discording within 30 seconds.

You might want to get with your guild regarding your foot in mouth policy. One side says tamers are ******* and you come in and say I am a ***** for getting on my blue and discoing their pets. Pot meet kettle.

All the peenvspeeners on this shard seem to think there needs to be some silly code of honor when fighting. It doesn't work that way, and it never will. You're going to run into tamers in a fight, no matter who you fight. You're going to run into blues during a faction fight, unless you keep it to the bases, which noone on Siege cares about anyway.

Well, I don't know if the guy has balls or not, that's not my thing...

Running non-faction vs. faction is totally within the sandbox rules though.

As to your second point...did you actually mention "grief" while playing SP? You honestly think because he is participating in the battle he is "griefing" you? Yegads...

It's a sandbox, play alongside or against others, or GTFO.

I mean it all looks good in writing.... But I do think you mix the two times up, cause when I was there it wasnt "Calibretto, Tigerdyr, Beowulf, Ghengis, Neo, Bobba Fett".

It was Boba and me mostly, everytime Beo caught up you ran (Understandable who wants a superdrag, a fighter and a mage on their ass) before he could even get in your screen. Then Cali showed and you fought Cali and boba on the wall, and me FSìng you from ground, thats when you almost got dropped, very nice escape though , thought we had you for sure. But Neo and Ghengis were at no time pressent in the fight when I was there.
But even so, you did great I was glad Boba was there when you turned on me otherwise id be picking up my stuff of a vendor.

Nice seeing you try vs those odds, all I wanted to say really.

Hopefully ill be more on the field soon, see ya all there.

Well Sprago, this whole thread was a bitchfest about tamers. Which apparently are super gimp and have no skill and nobody likes them. I bring out the equalizer vs tamers and you jump down my throat about being a ***** and not in factions.

I mean on one side I got people telling me pvp tamers are overpowered and lame, so I put a stop to them and now for doing so I am now lame???

You see where this gets confusing and hypocritical?

Maybe I will make a pvp bard. Will that make everyone happy? I can kill tamers mostly and stay alive vs everyone else.

You need 120/120 to disco greaters and you still get a nice fail rate unless you are using a dragon slayer.

Greater dragons are not easy to disco, you need 120 music/disco. A dragon slayer would also help.

Peace is useless. It will wear off before the skill delay even lets you try again.

Area peace is good defense though, buys you a few seconds maybe. But really if a guys is a stealth tamer he will just hide..... It would only be used defensively, like when you are trying to escape pets.

But my question still stands. Who is a bigger *****? Me being a blue non faction discoer than can be attacked by anybody or faction pvp stealth tamers?

Not that I really care what template anybody runs, I am just saying there are not a whole lot of posts about bards in pvp compared to stealth tamers.
