As I read a little about this most recent publish, I thought I would pop over to the Test Shard to see what all is up. Then I started reading the Test Shard forum to learn more.
Speaking *totally* out of the blue here (I have no real information), it seems that some "interesting times" might soon be upon us in UO. If I am reading the cards/tea leaves correctly, we are going to end up with towns that have been overtaken by rioters. I'm sure that somehow this will play into the fact that Blackthorne's castle in Ilsh has been demolished and all avenues to it blocked off (go check for yourself) *tips hat to Nightstalker who mentioned it in General Chat*
Now, I have *no* idea how this might play/interact with the faction town setup. But if this goes as I think it might, once it goes live, access to our regular towns might get iffy. I don't know if this would be active in Termur or not, but they've already got all those 'refugees' over there, so who knoweth?
Anyway. I just thought I would pop my speculations out here for folks to consider. I, for one, just might start marking some runes that are *outside* of the city limits. . . .
