It's a little bit more than 'PVP smack talk'. But Enziet is always shooting his mouth off, he doesn't seem to have anything useful to contribute on these forums ever. There are definitely cheaters out there, mostly people overclocking their CPUs and skipping across your screen like crazy. It's very irritating dealing with people with such low self-esteem that they need to cheat at a computer game. And I have no reservations about calling them out in gen chat when I see it.
It doesn't take much skill to play a ninja or archer if you're faster than most players. There are players out there with their speeders so jacked up they can chase me down with armor ignores and mortals if I'm running in a straight line, and then still catch up to me for the next shot. That really is messed up, I have a decent computer and connection. Dismount one of these guys and try chasing them down with magic arrows after you mount up? You're gonna have a heck of a time staying on screen with them, ridiculous.
That doesn't mean I'm going to give up and just stop PVPing. A lot of these players still suck, and if **** is too hairy it's often still possible to dipset on the fight if you use a little creativity and you're not in completely flat terrain. It hurts the max potential for fun, but doesn't take away from it completely.
The cheaters know who they are, everyone else knows who they are. It's openly discussed in the vents of every pvp guild, I've seen it demonstrated A/B style. It's always gone on, GMs are impotent to do anything about it, and usually will say they don't even detect it, but anyone who's been around the block knows.
