Curious about this armor

Found this armor today, from an IDOC, and was curious of its origins. I know you can dye platemail with plant dyes but it doesn't match any of them.

Just really curious, for any you with good memories, of the history of the item. Would like to piece together a little info to keep with the platemail. Probably nothing special but you never know.

He's correct. I have about 5-6 suits of various colors (same blood red, coal, some blues).
