Have you tried checking out the Pet Training A-Z sticky thread (Pet Training A-Z). It has pretty much every build you might think of for Cu's there (Cu Sidhe Builds).

Hope this helps.

If this is your first Cu, I highly recommend AI & Chiv, it's great for 1v1 fights, or if you're looking for Area of effect stuff then Goo, Ai, Mystic is quite good. It all depends on what you want the pet to be used for.

The Disco cu has a couple advantages:

  1. It allows the player to move off and/or invis if the pet was the one that discoed the target. If you move out of range or go invis for long on a player use of disco, you'll typically lose the disco effect. Even at Navrey, a pet disco doesn't break about half the time when the pet get moved away, but seems to always break when a PC disco gets moved.
  2. IF you ever do Travesty, one of the annoying things is that you can't take a disco PC in there without Travesty gaining Disco and discoing your tamers, causing their pets to go wild (and can do it even if you have a bard with 0 disco, and only incidental Disco on jewelry). Travesty doesn't copy pets, so you can take a disco cu down there with no issue (tested it once).
