Crystalline Blackrock

Is Ter Mur the only place to get Crystalline Blackrock? Or can we get it anywhere as long as our tools are set to ore and Jewels.

I have been getting them in Ter Mur without using a Gargoyle pick.

Ter Mur is the only place to mine crystalline blackrock. Ore elementals that spawn in any facet can have it.

Does any particuliar ore elemental give the crystalline blackrock better/more than others, or are all equally as likely to give the crystalline?

I ask this because I read in one of the posts in this forum that "Shadow elementals give them in the Yamatsu mines" and was wondering why they specified 'shadow? Left me with the impression that maybe the earth and dull ellies and others didn't give crystalline??????

I believe it's because, if i recall, the Yamatsu Mines have shadow and dull copper elementals naturally as spawn.

I have heard that the higher the ore elemental the better the chance of getting crystaline blackrock but haven't been killing high end ore elementals so can't confirm it.

After reading this post, I decided to give it a shot. I summoned 6 valorite elementals this morning, and got 5 crystaline blackrock.

It's the special, rare, imbuing ingredient for +skills on jewelry and also used to make abyssal cloth for the mage armor property.

Actually the discussion was about crystalline blackrock. The plain blackrock ones dont have a use at the moment.

You need crystaline blackrock, regular blackrock has no current use as far as I know (though I am sure someone will correct me if I am wrong)

No you are correct Kallie. The small normal "blackrock" pieces have no current use. I'm getting tired of it too. I have over 500 pcs now.

I was referring to crystalline blackrock. I didn't notice you just asked about blackrock.

Crystalline blackrock is an imbuing ingredient.

Normal small blackrock has no current useful use. Is the Armageddon spell still working?
