I just found out something while customising my house and don't know if it's common knowledge.
You can only use the crystal and shadow tiles if you own the 9th anniversary edition (which is almost impossible to buy now except on Ebay where it's about £50 ), but you can use the stairs. Not the outside ones though, just inside.

i just saw some threads about this (one started by me ) about any ability to purchase those tiles individually...you can actually go to eb games website, put your postal code in and see the nearest store that their inventory says is in stock - at around $20.

Yeah i've looked at that before but those shops are about 150miles away from where i live and not having my own transport means it would cost a hell of alot to make the journey.
Not that it matters because i'm ill and cannot travel anyway

ouch - try contacting EA - maybe if enough people make the request, they can at least put them on the uogamecodes.com site...they shouldn't be considered an anniversary gift - they're a selling point..they could probably get some bank if they opened them up as individual sales

Maybe they should just include them as a bonus when you purchase the SA expansion. Normally they add the verbage that the new expansion includes all previous expansions, but since they already upgraded everyone through ML, then they could just add that SA will include access to all housing tiles. I can't see having someone pay $20.00 for the 9th anniversary box and then another $40.00 for SA.

I'd be happy if i could buy the sets from UOgamecodes and already sent in the suggestion not long ago.
Of course i'd rather get them as part of SA...

Its funny, I would have to drive like 70 miles one way to buy one in another state.

You think Fort Smith, AR would have something at its malls or all the super centers we have here. I'm disable and having to have others travel for me or take me to get anything is a real pain.

Hey wolf - you're going to hate me for this - but check it out.

I go to ebgames.com and search for stores that are supposed to have the game. I have (2) accounts and I wanted to upgrade both. One of them doesn't have 8th Age either, so I check for both. One store is supposed to have the 8th age, the other is supposed to have the 9th age.

I pick up the 9th age first, then head to the other store for the 8th agth...when I get there, not only do they have the 8th age, but the 9th age too! So i picked up. So now I have both accounts 8th and 9th age upgraded and will get all teh perks - tiles, additional character slot, advanced character, character transfer and heritage token!

All for $60!

You should try being halfway between Fort Smith and Little Rock. It's quite the no-man's land when it comes to hard-to-find items.

I found the 8th Ed. box a year or two ago at Hastings...it was actually stuffed on a bottom shelf with a large number of other (non-software) rejects.
