Creating a Training Dojo

Afternoon all,

I'm in the process of moving to siege from Atlantic.(at least what I can gold wise)

I was wondering with all the public teleportation setup around Siege, would anyone use a skill training house if one was built?

I'd like to get a few advanced training dummies setup inside to train skills to 70 in any combat skill and other helpful things like that.

Would there be any interest?

I'm sure members of NOOB would take advantage of such an establishment. Perhaps a few vets who are switching up their templates or training new toons. I know that I couldn't find an advanced training dummy anywhere for a while.

NOOB does have advanced training dummies available for guildmates (or anyone with a decent reputation who asks for permission), but the Dojo is not public. I think there is also one on the roof of Young Traveler's Inn in NM, which is both public and guard zone. Among other services, CharGar's house in NM offers public veteran crafting stations, which she and NOOB and probably others reload with tools from time to time. The travel hubs you mentioned are also loaded with public utilities.

However, there cannot be too many public services available in my opinion! Not all new players join NOOB, and, as Spyder said, sometimes established players want to train something new. Plus, there are also pickpocket dips, and LP training boxes, and perhaps a dueling pit to train on hired NPCs. Little pet training enclosure maybe. Place to beat on a golem perhaps. Lots of ideas pop to mind for a 'skill training' house.

Just be aware that many, many players on Siege are very cautious, and so choose not to go anywhere public, do anything public, or even speak publicly. So don't be discouraged if you do not see it in use often, because, when it DOES get used, it will be greatly appreciated. Make sure the place has a bulletin board! Also, you might like to link the place to one or more of the hubs, and mark it with something to advertise its service.

Whatever you decide to make of your patch of dirt, I'm glad you've decided to make the move to the best shard in Sosaria!

I have purchased a tower in Safe Haven, near to the tell hub.

I think I could craft some. Members of UWSP too - they're some sort of crafter trade union here.

Edit: I have no blacksmithy yet, so I canmot craft armor components sadly. Maybe there are some in my unravel trash pile.

Thanks to Landreu's help, I made you some advanced training dummies, so catch me in GC whenever I'm online.

I'll be making some 30 and 50 locked/trapped boxes in a week so I can train myself later, if you're willing to wait.
