crafter question.

Hi,

its kind of difficult to find a siege compatible training guide for a crafter. Most important what's best to train to thirty - and maybe what's most efficient to train beyond that.

i don't know anything about crafting so, i was hoping someone could give me some pointers or link me to a guide about it.

thanks all,

*edit* oh yeah, and i'm most interested in blacksmith, tailor, & arms lore. the others i haven't decided on yet.

which craft are you training? I trained all my crafts from 0 since I hadn't planned on staying when I made the char, just claiming an ethy on the account for Terry's char. Then I decided to make a crafter to support his chars.

Ended up he's supporting me instead, resource gathering for the shop :D

i know i will be training magery, mining, blacksmith, armslore, alchemy, and tailor. I'm not sure if I can fit anything beyond that.

I lived in Delucia in for months. I started with a couple of free sturdy shovels (shop on the vesper graveyard - bank road). Mine the iron, train smith and tailor via bods. Up to 70 you'll consistently get bods that advance your skill. Lots of sheep in Del for doing the tailor bods. Alchemy I'd build up a stock of cheap regs first before training. Armslore will go up as you fill the smith bods.
Since you're not training tinkering (First thing I did) give me a call and I'll set you up with a decent quantity of sewing kits and tongs. (102280987)

alternately buy a shed load of iron and cloth for the quicker route

arms lore just lore your weapon till you hit rot (70), after that it just gains when crafting

delucia is the place though, plenty of hinds and cows for leather to sell for gold, sheep for cloth for skill (can get to 120 tailor just on cloth, oil cloth then ninja hoods), smithing will take about 5-7k ingots to hit rot, from there it is cruise control and lots of patience :)

also mining alacrity can be done in a house with a forge if you separate a ton of colored ore into singles for rot. personally i just mined my way to gm and got lots of ore though. shrug

I sugest you to get a fire beetle asap, and bond it asap too. If you want I can tame one to you.

Well, if you plan on having 100 Magery and 120 Tailoring and BS then you´re able to have at least 60 Tinkering. I suggest U get that cuz then U can make all your tools yourself...

Like we say in Sweden: "Själv är bäste dräng."

Google it... :D

I'd also suggest training doing the heartwood quests. You mostly get junk, but you sometimes get some superb talismans there.

at the moment even the junk talis are worth bringing out, they're worth 250 points for spring cleaning.
